Six residents, never more. Care that's shaped around each person — their routines, preferences, and pace.
Because we serve only six residents, every aspect of care can be shaped around the person — their routines, preferences, and pace of life.
Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and medication management — provided respectfully and on each resident's own schedule.
A quiet, consistent environment with familiar routines, gentle redirection, and safety-first design — suited for residents experiencing dementia.
Owner-trained in behavioral health and emotional support for residents managing anxiety, depression, or behavioral challenges alongside their physical care.

An adult family home is a licensed residential home, in a regular neighborhood, that provides room, board, personal care, and daily living assistance for a small number of adults — at NEWLIFE AFH, no more than six residents. It offers a quieter, more personal alternative to a large assisted living facility or nursing home.

Yes. We provide memory care in a quiet, consistent environment with familiar routines, gentle redirection, and safety-first design — well suited for residents living with dementia or Alzheimer's.
We are located at 696 Pioneer St SW, Tumwater, WA 98512, and we serve families throughout Tumwater, Olympia, Lacey, and the wider Thurston County area.
An adult family home is much smaller — six residents or fewer in a real house — so care is more personal and the same caregivers know each resident well. Assisted living facilities are larger, more institutional settings serving dozens or hundreds of residents. Many families choose an adult family home for the calmer, home-like environment and one-on-one attention.
Families can request a tour and case managers can start a referral by calling (564) 201-0940, emailing newlifeafh1@gmail.com, or using the inquiry form on our contact page. We respond within one business day.
